  • Quinoa Salad and Dressing

  • Quinoa salad

    1)  Four cups of quinoa
    2)  Two cups of toasted pumpkin, sunflower seeds and walnuts
    3)  Two cups of freshly chopped herbs.  Mint and parsley go well.
    4)  One cup of Julia’s dressing.

    Place the quinoa in a pot and cook for twenty minutes.  Drain and add all the other ingredients and place in the fridge until ready to serve.

  • Julia’s dressing

    1)  Juice of two lemons and zest
    2)  Two teaspoons of herb yeast salt
    3)  Two teaspoons of wholegrain mustard
    4)  Two cloves of garlic crushed
    5)  Two tablespoons of liquid honey.
    6)  Olive oil.

    1)  Place all the ingredients in a blender except the olive oil and blend until smooth.
    2)  Slowly add the olive oil until it is really thick.  Taste to see if you require more oil.
    3)  Bottle and enjoy does not need to go in the fridge.
